What shooting the Hills and eastern suburbs actually involves
The eastern corridor gets less attention from Perth media suppliers than it deserves, which is useful if you list there. Mount Lawley, Inglewood and Menora hold some of the best original Federation and inter-war stock in the state — tuck-pointed brick, jarrah floors, high ceilings, tessellated verandahs. It photographs beautifully and it needs detail shots to do it justice.
Maylands, Bayswater and Bassendean are mid-market family stock with genuine renovation history, which is exactly why the floor plan needs measuring on site rather than tracing from a 1960s original. Half the value in a renovated Bayswater home is a wall that no longer exists on the builder's drawing.
Up in the Hills — Kalamunda, Mundaring, Darlington, Glen Forrest, Lesmurdie — the job changes again. Large treed blocks, elevation, and homes that are frequently invisible from the road. Drone is not a nice-to-have there; it is often the only way to show a buyer what they are actually buying. And out through Ellenbrook, Aveley and Midland you are back into high-turnover estate stock where speed and consistency matter more than anything else.
